As you all know the price format of T-Bonds is xxx-xxx.

Now to calculate Pivots or Range, or any other calculations, how do you work in excel worksheets with this format.

Any help with examples would be appreciated.

Thank You

long bond has a seasonal buy 5/14

then one more down seasonally about in mid june time frame

after that long bond tends to work it's way higher into year end

long bond up means yields down, which is what the usa needs to save the mortgage market and thus the housing market

SPX topped last friday into more horrible housing data, horrible rise in foreclosures

I write mortgage loans part time and for rates to jump in into the high 5's would not serve a good purpose in trying to revive the housing market if not one can afford the loan. I believe rates will move into the lower 4's and maintain some flatlining there for some time

we're getting overbought on the long bond

a short as close to 120-00 looks good, was a previous low area, but no guarantee it can even go up thru 119's as we have massive issuance again this week from the treasury
