Here's another quote along those lines: "History doesn't repeat itself; it rhymes." - Mark Twain.

I just couldn't resist...here's more Yogi-isms:
"The future ain't what it used to be."
"There are some people who, if they don't already know, you can't tell 'em."
"You can observe a lot by just watching."
"You should always go to other people's funerals, otherwise, they won't come to yours."
"The towels were so thick there I could hardly close my suitcase."
"Slump? I ain't in no slump... I just ain't hitting. "
"It's like deja-vu, all over again. "
"I think Little League is wonderful. It keeps the kids out of the house. "
"I never said most of the things I said."

A pinch of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains. (Dutch proverb)
To me, that one goes a long way in trading. I've made much more money by waiting for the right time to enter and exit my orders. The only way I can do that is after doing my homework when the market is closed for the regular session. Certainly Oscar is good at this!

hmmmm, a 'happy happy' with his own reality -----> that reads like huxley's 'soma'
trading is being a fisherman, patiently waiting for your strike...
in futures that is most often buying a break or or selling a lift off

'book em danno' this is like Oscar's 'never too early to take a profit'
when hawaii 5-0 show was on tv, traders said 'book em danno' to mean time to get flat
'sell in may and go away' this i'm saying to anybody who feels the need to chase this market after it already moved +23%
