As a young trader I would try to predict what the market would do for the next day: the high and the low. Then I would try to predict the highs and the lows for the week, month, and year. I would get luckly sometime but missed it most of the time. I would bust my account and have to borrow or save more money for my account. One day I was in my bank and an older man asked me "Son how are you doing in your trading venture?" I had to tell him the truth; it was not so great, I had busted my account. He smiled and laughed and he asked me if he told me something would I try it and see if it would work for me. I told him yes I would try it and let him know. This is what he said.[Forget what you THINK you SEE or KNOW and trade what YOU SEE] "Read that again and it will change your trading life" So I went home and started thinking maybe this old man may be on to something and you know the day I started to do that I started to build my account and enjoy life more.
