Star of the day Opexa Therapeutics (OPXA) closed at 5.66, up 4.13, a gain of 267%. Jazz Pharmaceuticals (JAZZ) ran from 8 1/2 in the morning to a high of 11.27, closing at 10.28, up 1.01, on 11.1 million. Sinovac (SVA) jumped to 10.33, but closed at 9.75, still up 61 cents on more than 18 million shares traded. 8)

9/10/2009 12:03:38 AM 77 Posts: 0	weds 9/9/9 - Junior biotechs and medical stocks were firm, with BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX) up 43 cents to 10.88, Human Genome Sciences (HGSI) up 37 cents at 19.61, Electro-Optical Sciences (MELA) 24 cents to 10.49, and Orexigen Therapeutics (OREX) up 62 cents to 8.82. Vanda Pharmaceuticals (VNDA) gained 71 cents to 13.23. 8)

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX) in a very strong flu-vaccine sector, was up 70 cents to 8.76. Sinovac (SVA) rose 72 cents to 7.80, and NovaVax (NVAX) added 51 cents to 4.02 in that same sector. flu stocks mostly 8)
