could see easily off the comex opening that the trend day players were awake

nr7 is narrowest range in last 7 sessions, a volatility expansion setup or a trend day

50% at 905 from 801.5 to 1007.7

.618 at 900 round number range 681-1034, continuous chart

the power of round numbers again, as 900 even stopped it and previous post shows the fib there

weekly pivot also at the 900 rounderrrrrrrrr

200 day EMA was the held number at 871, commodity trading funds sometimes react off the 50/200 emas

gold and silver had the trend day setup again for wednesday 9/30, and gold ended up +1.5% and silver nearly +3% on the day

it really pays to check your charts and look for the narrowest session in the last seven, the 'NR7' in most any futures market

you don't predict which way it will go, you just go with it once it has started, say breaking out of 1st hour range

another setup that work similarly is 'inside day'
